Bracket Town
This event will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from April 5th, all the way up until the championship game on April 8th. It is an event for all sports fans because it will showcase most NCAA sports. There will be many contests, activities, festivals and autograph parties in Bracket Town. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for youth, military, and senior citizens. If you buy tickets online, they are $8 for adults, and $4 for youth, military and senior citizens.
Benefits
Atlanta will benefit from hosting the Final Four in a variety of ways. One way that the city will gain benefits is by the publicity alone that it will recieve by hosting a big event such as the Final Four. The Final Four is a sporting event that people from all over the country watch. The people who watch the Final Four will be seeing a lot of the city of Atlanta, and they may be intrigued to visit. Atlanta will also make money off of hosting the actual games in the Georgia Dome. The NCAA will pay the city to use the Georgia Dome to play the Final Four games. The city will also gain money from ticket sales, product sales inside the stadium, and concessions inside the stadium. Events such as "Bracket Town" and "Jamfest" will bring in revenue to the city and restaurants and shops in the area will make money due to the overflow of people in town for the Final Four.
